January Youth Service London Central (17-01-2010)
On Sunday 17th of January over 80 youth members attended London Central for the Apostle Service. Sunday was a fantastic day as this was the first Youth service of the year in England following the first Youth service in Dublin - Ireland the day before. Service started at 3pm where our Apostle Krause served and was assisted by our youth Priest, Pr Gary Heynes and Pr Fisher. During Service two Brothers were welcomed into the Deacon Ministry by our Apostle, Brother Simon Beamish as Deacon for Birmingham and Brother Samuel Middleton as Deacon for Nottingham congregation where they will now assist their local congregations and Rectors. After Service we all enjoyed fellowship gathering downstairs in the hall where we could all greet each other before travelling home. For more Pictures please click here
January Youth Service Dublin (16-01-2010)
Youth Service in Dublin, 16th of January On the 16th of January, our Apostle Krause held a youth service in Dublin congregation. Youth from all over Ireland had the opportunity to experience his wonderful teaching and serving. The Apostle was accompanied by our Bishop Middleton and District Evangelist Beamish as well as all ministers from Ireland. The text word for this special service was taken out of Ecclesiastes 11: 9 where it says ‘Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth’. The Apostle greeted the youth with a well wishing that all our desires and hopes may come true this year and that the Lord will be with us. He also said that we should find joy in the Lord and its that way he will provide us with great blessing. The Irish youth had also a lovely chance to get to know some youth from the Hamburg district who had travelled to Dublin for the weekend to attend this special youth service of our dear Apostle. After service fellowship was supplied for and we all had a chance to meet and greet each other. The youth had a questionnaire prepared with our Apostle and youth activities followed such as getting to know the fellow youth, guessing with three personal hints which minister it is, and a bible quiz. At the end of the day, we can all say that we left with a happy heart and a wonderful Apostle Service experience which will accompany us right throughout the New Year.
USA Youth Visit England MAY 09
Over 60 Youth From America Attended EYD in May 2009 and on the way visited Germany and made a Final Stop in ENGLAND! Before travelling back to attend the Chief Apostle Service in Chicago then taking their separate ways home. Many Volunteers came along to help look after the American youth whilst visiting London, being tour guides showing them what we have to offer. Unfortunately Sunny old England yet again has let us down with its rare occasion of rain and cold spells, causing many youth too wrap up warm and buy last minute umbrellas. Over the few days when they were here we showed them some amazing sites which we take for granted like Big Ben, King Cross Station (where Harry Potter was created), McDonalds and the Generator hostel. Whilst exploring London and shopping to a surprise we all stopped and broke out into Song (who said life isn’t a musical?) singing “Stop Hallelujah Praise his Holy Name” where we pulled a crowd of tourist who stopped and listened even taking pictures. After each day of exploring we ended back home in the Generator Hostel where we all could interact with each other creating new friendships and bonds with each other the American youth and the English youth who attended. Sadly all must come to an end… at 6am we all packed our belongings and made our way to the Airport where we all had to say good bye, which was a very sad experience for us all, to say a final good bye to the Americans and the American District…. However… PLEASE COME BACK AND VISIT!
